One Hundred Short Videos Interpret the Beauty of Beijing

On July 14, the award ceremony of the 2nd "100 Reasons to Love Beijing" Short Video Contest was held at the China Arts and Crafts Museum.

Two special recognition prizes, five grand prizes, ten first prizes, fifteen second prizes, twenty third prizes, thirty excellent awards, and five most internet popular awards were presented at the event. Moreover, Beijing People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries and other nine organizations were honored as outstanding organizations. During the ceremony, there were also winners of the best Winter Olympics-themed award, best director award, best visual effects award and best editing award.

From city life to history and culture, people can fall in love with Beijing for many reasons. Videos from Michael Crook, Colin Siyuan Chinnery and other participants show more people the real, friendly and livable Beijing that's leading in development.

Stuart from the UK entertained the audience with his stand-up comedy, which told his story with the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics, prompting a huge round of applause.

William Brown from the US gave his reasons for falling in love with Beijing through a personal video he recorded. The video shows his love for the Great Wall, the Summer Palace, the Forbidden City, as well as the Peking opera. He even participated in a Peking opera contest with his children. "Thank you, Beijing!" he says in the video, expressing his earnest love for this city.
