Beijing Establishes the First Personal Archive for Foreigners Having Acquired Chinese Citizenship

Recently, a post-90s woman who has newly acquired Chinese nationality has successfully set up her personal archive in Chaoyang District, Beijing and joined a Chinese state-owned enterprise. This is the first personal archive set up in Beijing for foreigners who have acquired Chinese citizenship.

How can foreigners who have become Chinese citizens set up personal archives? According to Chaoyang Human Resources Public Service Center, after being improved and streamlined, current procedures for establishing personal archives have become more simple and convenient and only require three steps: 1) file the application, 2) submit materials, and 3)verify and set up the archive.
