I am Lin Yue, founder of the Beijing Evergreen Organization and member of the Commission on Education and Communication, the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN CEC). We have been organizing nature-themed education activities in various communities across China for the past ten years. In the last two years, we also tried to build small gardens in communities and homes to protect the biodiversity of the city. She is a member of our organization, although she is not a botanist or an animal conservationist, she runs this beautiful garden with hundreds of plant species all by herself. It’s easy to see that ordinary people like us can also participate in biodiversity conservation in different ways.
