On the day, the Capital Museum will hold a "Fragrance on Fingertips" (指尖上的芬芳) experiential event, inviting couples to learn about the filigree inlaid art technique. Beijing Art Museum's workshops on traditional needlework for women and woodworking will open courses, at which inheritors of intangible cultural heritage techniques will demonstrate their skills and tell the history of the Qixi Festival. Beijing Folk Arts Museum will open its Hall of Yue Lao (Yue Lao is the god of marriage and love in Chinese mythology), in which the ancient scene of worshipping Zhinv (the goddess of weaving) will be reproduced and visitors can wear red strings to partake in the romantic traditions. The Museum of Chinese Gardens and Landscape Architecture will host a Qixi-themed "Reading in Garden" (读园) cultural event, encouraging visitors to participate in book sharing.

The China Arts and Crafts Museum, also known as the China Intangible Cultural Heritage Museum, will organize "Start of Autumn - Qixi Festival" evening events. From 18:30 to 21:00 every day from August 7 to 10, visitors can attend public lectures in the exhibition hall, shop at the intangible cultural heritage fairs, and enjoy the night views from the outdoor terrace. On the evening of August 10, the museum will provide opportunities for visitors to experience the traditional handicrafts of paper-cutting and Su Embroidery, both of which are China's unique intangible cultural heritage items. Couples can acquire materials for free and partake in these activities.
