On May 10, the 2023 Themed Field Visit to Changping District by Diplomats to China and the Beijing People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries (BPAFFC) Council Members, co-hosted by the BPAFFC and Changping District People's Government of Beijing Municipality, was held in Changping District. More than 30 diplomats and entrepreneurs from 24 countries and international organizations including Algeria, Egypt, Mexico, and Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development joined the visit.

They also visited special projects of the Zhongguancun Life Science Park and Cuicun Town to take a closer look at Beijing's competitive edges in such areas as digital technology and biomedicine.

Enrique Escamilla, Minister at the Embassy of Mexico to China, exclaimed admiringly, "China has made outstanding progress and led the way in numerous areas. All products I see today are incredibly excellent."
