Beijing Half Marathon 2023 kicked off at Tian'anmen Square on April 16 with men's and women's half marathon events and more than 50,000 participants from 27 countries that included China, Japan, the United States, Germany, France, Canada, Spain, India, the Republic of Korea, and Singapore. One of the participants to successfully complete the race was Kim Junbum from the Republic of Korea. "Beijing is a dual-Olympic City," he said after the race, "and it's racing into the future!
