Jin Wei, male, Han ethnicity, was born in May 1972. He holds a master's degree in Business Administration and is a member of the Communist Party of China (CPC). Jin is currently a member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Beijing Municipal Committee, a member of the Party Leadership Group of the People's Government of Beijing Municipality, Vice Mayor of Beijing, and President of Red Cross Society of China Beijing Branch.

Responsibilities:

Jin is in charge of work related to economy and information technology, public health, state-owned assets supervision and administration, local financial regulation, medical insurance, and medical products supervision and management.

Jin oversees Beijing Municipal Bureau of Economy and Information Technology (Beijing Municipal Bureau of Radio Management, Beijing Municipal Bureau of Big Data Management, Beijing Municipal Office of Science, Technology and Industry for National Defense), Beijing Municipal Health Commission, the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the People's Government of Beijing Municipality, Beijing Municipal Bureau of Local Financial Regulation (Beijing Municipal Bureau of Financial Work), Beijing Municipal Medical Insurance Bureau, Beijing Municipal Medical Products Administration, and the Administrative Commission of Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area.

Jin is in charge of liaison with Red Cross Society of China Beijing Branch, Beijing Communications Administration, the Operations Office (Beijing) of the People's Bank of China, China Banking and Insurance Regulatory Commission (Beijing Office), and China Securities Regulatory Commission (Beijing Office).
