"Swift Response to Public Complaints" helps foreigners working in China solve problems

"Many thanks to the staff of the Tongzhou District Human Resources and Social Security Bureau! Without their help in communication and coordination, the foreign employees hired by us would have really become 'foreigners who are illegally staying, working or residing in China', and the consequences would have been terrible." Recently, Ms. Mo, a citizen, called the 12345 Citizen Hotline to express her gratitude on behalf of the party concerned.

Ms. Mo is the person in charge of a district-owned enterprise, and the party concerned is a foreign employee hired by her enterprise to work in China. This foreign employee accidentally lost his "Work Permit for Foreigners" . According to the provisions of the "Exit and Entry Administration Law of the People's Republic of China", if it is not reissued in time, it will be impossible to apply for the extension of the residence permit, or he will even face penalties such as fines, criminal detention, and deportation.

The staff of Bureau really practiced "Swift Reponse to Public Complaints", and immediately opened a green channel. They guided the enterprise to complete matters such as writing a statement, publishing a lost notice, and making an appointment for the application. They expedited the online pre-approval and actively coordinated with the Beijing Overseas Talents Center for approval. Eventually, the pre-approval, acceptance, and approval procedures that were supposed to be completed within 8 working days according to regulations were completed in only 5 working days, helping the party concerned reissue the "Work Permit for Foreigners", and timely helping citizens in avoiding potential risks and solve problems.

Every aspect of public welfare matters, and every detail  impacts people's emotions. Each seemingly ordinary "minor matter" is a "major matter" for the general public. Only by acting swiftly to address the urgent needs of the general public and relieve their worries can the people further recognize "Swift Reponse to Public Complaints", have more trust in the governments, and further enhance the sense of happiness, gain, and satisfaction among the people and foreigners working in China.
