Influenced by her father, Jelena, a young woman from Serbia, followed her elder sister's footsteps to pursue her studies in China.

During her PhD studies at the Capital Normal University, she practiced calligraphy, learned Chinese opera, and immersed herself in the allure of Chinese culture. Moreover, by participating in the filming of the documentary series "Charming Beijing", she gained insight into the profound cultural connotations of the Beijing Central Axis.

"I trust China deeply, and in return, China also trusts me. It has given me a stage to showcase myself," said Jelena. "If I were a small boat, then let the winds of China carry me to every corner of the world."
