Wanshou Temple, located in Haidian District, Beijing, was first built in 1577 during the Ming Dynasty and rebuilt and expanded many times during the Qing Dynasty. In 1987, Beijing Art Museum was officially opened to the public in Wanshou Temple.
The scenic area is an ancient building complex with a fascinating history dating back over 400 years. It covers 31,800 square meters and is home to some truly spectacular ancient Chinese garden art.
