Universal Beijing Resort's "Universal's Chinese New Year" themed event will run from January 23 to March 3, inviting visitors to experience fresh ways of celebrating the Chinese New Year in a spirited festive atmosphere.

The "Universal Re-u-Nian Show" returns this year with new choreography, music, and storytelling. Fourteen beloved characters will take the stage, including those from DreamWorks Studio such as Po from "Kung Fu Panda", King Julien from "Madagascar", and some Minions from Illumination Entertainment's "Despicable Me".

The park will be covered with festive decorations everywhere to let you really feel the holiday spirit. The "Universal's Golden Wintersweet Tree of Blessings" will make a big comeback too. In the Hollywood zone, popular characters such as Shrek and Fiona, Woody and Winnie, and Puss in Boots and Kitty Softpaws will appear in exclusive Chinese New Year costumes. Over at Minion Land, Gru's house will receive a festive makeover with traditional New Year touches. Meanwhile, a range of Kung Fu Panda-themed merchandise, full of New Year flair, will be released.

Throughout the event, Universal Beijing Resort will offer a variety of Chinese New Year-themed ticketing options. Details and ticket information will be updated regularly on the resort's official channels, including its app, official WeChat account and mini-program, Weibo, RedNote and Douyin.
