On August 28, Universal Beijing Resort announced its first-ever "Birthday Month" special event set to take place on September 1. This grand celebration, marking the second anniversary of this resort featuring cinematic highlights, will span the entire September. The event promises an array of exciting experiences, including the appearance of new characters, Universal Pop with an event-exclusive song list, new thematic merchandise and gastronomical offers, as well as several classic movies to be played. A documentary series titled "The Incredible Journey of Creation", capturing the remarkable journey of bringing Universal Beijing Resort to life, will also be unveiled.

Throughout the event, new characters will make limited-time appearances. Queen Poppy from "Trolls", a hit film produced by DreamWorks Animation, will make her debut at Universal Beijing Resort. Additionally, the ever-popular Puss in Boots, also from a film of DreamWorks Animation, will return to the resort and bring for the first time his girlfriend, Kitty Softpaws, to say hi to visitors while offering interactive experiences.

Five classic movies will be screened at Universal CityWalk Cinema throughout September, including "Minions: The Rise of Gru", "Sing", "Kung Fu Panda", "How to Train Your Dragon" and "Jurassic Park". Guests and viewers can check the screening schedules of Universal CityWalk Cinema and order movie tickets via various major online movie ticketing platforms.

With the arrival of the "Birthday Month", Universal Beijing Resort will present a new documentary series titled "The Incredible Journey of Creation". Starting from September 6, visitors can explore the fascinating locations of Universal Beijing Resort featured in the series. They can also participate in online interactions through the official WeChat account of the resort to win the event-exclusive merchandise.
