Located in Tongzhou District of Beijing, Universal Beijing Resort officially opened for business on September 20, 2021.

As the first Universal Studios theme park in China, the third in Asia, and the fifth globally, Universal Beijing Resort is currently the world's largest Universal theme park. It comprises the Universal Studios theme park, two resort hotels, and Universal CityWalk Beijing. Among them, the Universal Studios theme park has seven themed lands, 24 venues providing different kinds of shows and entertainment activities, 37 integrated recreational facilities, and 80 food and beverage outlets. The seven themed lands are inspired by major movie IPs (intellectual properties) such as Harry Potter, Kung Fu Panda, Transformers and Jurassic World.

Universal Beijing Resort is the largest foreign-invested project in the service industry in Beijing, and also an important project to support Beijing Municipal Administrative Center in fulfilling its function in culture and tourism. Its completion and opening has added distinct charm and appeal to Beijing, an ancient capital with a thousand years of history, and has also set an example for the transformation of Beijing's culture and tourism industry.

Universal Beijing Resort is expected to receive 10 to 12 million tourists every year. Moreover, it will have a strong spillover effect on industries of surrounding areas within 5 to 10 kilometers and on the coordinated development of industries of surrounding areas within 30 kilometers, which is conducive to accelerating the formation in Beijing of a national industrial cluster featuring the integrated development of culture, tourism and commerce.

Opening Hours:

The opening hoursof Universal Studios theme park is from 9:00 to 19:00 and that of Universal CityWalk Beijing is from 7:00 to 23:00.

Transportation:

There are multiple transportation modes for tourists to get to Universal Beijing Resort.

Tourists who drive their own vehicles, or those who come by taxi, ride-hailing, tourist buses and coaches can exit from the "Tianjiafu" exit of Beijing-Harbin Expressway or the "Zhangjiawan North" exit of the 6th Ring Road to enter Universal Beijing Resort. Universal Beijing Resort has three large-scale parking areas that can accommodate more than 10,000 vehicles at the same time. Besides, it provides tourist-friendly supporting services to meet the various parking needs of tourists.

Tourists that arrive in Beijing by plane or train can take rail transit to reach Universal Beijing Resort, as it is already connected by rail transit with Beijing Capital International Airport, Beijing Daxing International Airport, Beijing Railway Station, Beijingxi Railway Station, and Beijing South Railway Station.

Tourists can choose to take bus or metro. They can take Bus No. 589 and T116 to reach Universal Beijing Resort; tourists who take metro can get off the train at "Universal Resort Station" and walk out of the station via Exit B, C, or D. It takes them about 7 minutes to walk from the exits to the security check area of Universal CityWalk Beijing.

Additionally, tourists can also take the customized shuttle bus. The customized bus operating from downtown to Universal Beijing Resort connects Universal Beijing Resort with Guomao, Sanlitun, Sanyuan Bridge, Anzhen Bridge, Dongzhimen, Xizhimen, Cao Qiao, Beijing Railway Station and other important transportation hubs. Its operation hour is from 7:00 to 20:40. The route of customized cruising buses covers the major metro stations, residential communities and hotels within 6 kilometers around the Universal Beijing Resort. The departure interval of the bus is 8 minutes. It supports online reservation or temporary ride and provides a fast shuttle service available from 7:10 to 9:30 and 17:30 to 21:30. Tourists can wait at the waiting area 1-2 of Universal Beijing Resort Bus Station, including visitors to take either type of customized buses mentioned above.

Tickets:

As no admission ticket is required for entry to Universal CityWalk Beijing, tourists can visit CityWalk and the surrounding waterway without an admission ticket to Universal Studios Beijing.

Tourists must hold valid tickets to enter Universal Studios Beijing and are requested to present valid ID cards issued by government authorities for verification. Such ID cards include but are not limited to: Resident ID Card, Mainland Travel Permit for Hong Kong and Macao Residents, Mainland Travel Permit for Taiwan Residents, Passport, etc. Park admission tickets are non-transferable, and immediately become void if altered.

In addition, Universal Beijing Resort will officially launch Universal Studios Beijing Winter and Spring Leisure Passes, Universal Studios Beijing Two-Visit General Admission Ticket at 0:00 on November 1. With the Winter and Spring Leisure Pass, tourists can enjoy multiple visits in a valid period that lasts for more than 6 months. It should be noted that reservation is needed before each entrance. With the Two-Visit General Admission Ticket, tourists can explore Universal Studios Beijing theme park in any two days within the valid period.
