9. Zijin Hotel (former site of Belgian Embassy)

The Zijin Hotel, the former site of the Embassy of Belgium in China, is a large, gorgeous European-style courtyard. As an architectural relic witnessing China's modern history, its name has been changed several times, from the Embassy of Belgium in China to the No.14 State Guest Hotel to the Zijin Hotel officially named in 1986.
