The Beijing Yuyang International Ski Resort officially opened on December 4. The resort is nestled at the foot of Qinglong Mountain, a national 4A-level tourist attraction in Pinggu District, about 60 kilometers from downtown Beijing, offering convenient access and a pristine natural environment surrounded by gorgeous mountains.

Covering more than 300,000 square meters, the resort currently features 13 ski runs catering to advanced, intermediate and beginner skiers. It is also equipped with one double chairlift system, one quad chairlift system and nine conveyor belts, providing efficient transporting capacity to accommodate skiers at all skill levels.

This year, the resort has also launched a pet-friendly snow park. Covering a ginormous 20,000-square-meter space, this park encompasses a dedicated pet ski trail with sleds and snow tubes, a snow playground, and facilities for obstacle challenges and treasure hunts (for dog snacks), allowing pets and their owners to enjoy seasonal fun together.

Transport Tips

If driving by car, you can go directly via the Beijing-Pinggu Expressway, which should take around 55 minutes from the city center. For public transport, you can take Subway Line 2 to Dongzhimen Station, transfer to Bus No. 852 to Pinggu Bus Terminal, then switch to a local bus to reach the resort. Shuttle services from Beijing and Tianjin are also available, which can be booked through the resort's official mini-program.
