The "Star Express - Yanzhao" (星光・燕赵号), a panoramic sightseeing train in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, officially launched its autumn and winter schedule in early November. According to China Railway Beijing Group, after trips to the historic city of Handan on November 1, 2, 8, and 9, the train will add new routes to Xuanhua and Zhangjiakou on November 15. It will make weekend ski trips more relaxing and hassle-free.

Currently, passengers can book the Zhangjiakou route under the "Tickets and Travel" (门票·旅游) section on the homepage of the Railway 12306 app. The train operates on Saturdays and Sundays, with one-way seats priced at 319 yuan each. It departs from Beijing Railway Station at 08:33, stops at Xuanhua Railway Station from 12:09 to 12:15, and arrives at Zhangjiakou Railway Station at 12:40. The return train departs from Zhangjiakou Railway Station at 16:47, stops at Xuanhua Railway Station from 17:08 to 17:14, and arrives at Beijing Railway Station at 20:15.
The "Star Express - Yanzhao" train consists of seven carriages, including four sightseeing carriages, one themed dining carriage, one panoramic sightseeing carriage, and one multifunctional entertainment carriage. Designed as a "mobile living room with a view," it creates a dynamic cultural space integrating sightseeing, dining, and entertainment. Since its launch in July, the train has operated routes to Chengde, Qinhuangdao, Handan, and several other destinations.
