On November 26, the 10th Beijing Happy Ice and Snow Season was launched with a series of activities at the National Speed Skating Oval. This season is scheduled to run from November 2023 to April 2024.

It is learned that throughout this season, the city will host an array of top international ice and snow competitions, including the world cups of speed skating, big air and short-track speed skating, and a grand prix of figure skating. In addition, a wide range of branded ice and snow competitions for national fitness, such as a speed skating open and a skiing open, will also be organized. Over 30,000 "Ice and Snow Vouchers" will be distributed gradually during the season.

It is also reported that on the season's launch day, 3,500 vouchers were distributed to citizens for free through the WeChat mini program "Beijing Jianshenhui", allowing the holders of these vouchers to enjoy discounts on tickets for some ice and snow venues in Beijing and offset the ticket costs with the face values of the vouchers.
