The China International Exhibition Center (Shunyi Hall), 30 minutes' drive from Chaoyang Hall, built via plan and investment by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, offers a large and complete facilities as well as excellent services. The two halls are planned coordinately and under integrated management. They have hosted world-renowned exhibitions including China International Machine Tool Show, Auto China, China Print Exhibition, Communications Expo, China Metallurgy Expo, and China Glass Show, making them the premier choice for domestic and foreign exhibitors arranging exhibitions and expos in Beijing.
With a total planned land area of 155.5 hectares, Shunyi Hall includes 16 separable, single-story, column-free, large-space exhibition halls with usable indoor space of 200,000 square meters. Not only can these halls individually host small-scale exhibitions, but, via connection with internal corridors, large-scale exhibitions can also be accommodated. Eight exhibition halls, with an indoor area of 100,000 square meters and an outdoor area of 50,000 square meters, were completed and put into use in the first phase in 2008. Since then the number of exhibitions held each year at Shunyi Hall has increased rapidly (over 30 per year these days). Most of the exhibitions are large or medium-sized, and they are well-known at home and abroad.
China International Exhibition Center (Shunyi Hall) is located in Tianzhu Airport City business district, east of Beijing Capital International Airport and west of Wenyu River Ecological Corridor, with convenient transport and surrounded by beautiful scenery. High-grade highway networks around Shunyi Hall include Jingmi Road, the Fifth and Sixth Ring Roads, Airport Expressway and Beijing-Chengde Expressway. Public transportation here includes light rail, buses, airport shuttles and taxis.
