The Labor Day holiday is usually an ideal time for outdoor music festivals. To mark the occasion this year, three music festivals will take place in Beijing during the upcoming Labor Day holiday.

More than 200 jazz masters and up-and-coming musicians from nine countries will perform together during the 5th Taihu Jazz Festival, which will run at Taihu Stage Art Centre of the National Centre for the Performing Arts from April 30 to May 5. Seven overseas jazz bands, 14 Chinese top-level bands, one Latin jazz dance troupe and over 30 outstanding youth bands will bring a jazz feast to the audience with more than 100 performances on seven stages.

The Beijing Expo Park will host the 2025 Strawberry Music Festival from May 2 to 4. Along with bands like Mr. Sea Turtle, Second Hand Rose and The Landlord's Cat, several musicians who have held large-scale concerts, including Yoga Lin, Chen Li and Chen Chusheng, will join the festival this year. Gong Linna (a singer) will show her "other side" to the audience at the event.

The Yuanqi Senlin Music Festival will be staged at Lafayette Castle in Changping District, Beijing on May 1 and 2. It is a music festival featuring rock and folk elements, where Cui Jian, Laolang, Zheng Jun, The Last Day of Summer 831, Mayuan Poet and other musicians and stylish bands will take the stage.

Afternoon open-air concerts, midnight stages under the starry skies, film screenings, gourmet bites on a castle's lawns... Beijing will set the Labor Day holiday ablaze with music!
