The 2026 BOB Beijing MC Marathon, also known as the "Tongbei" Marathon, is set to kick off on April 19, with registration having opened on March 11.

On the 42.195-kilometer course along the picturesque north section of the Grand Canal, runners will encounter a range of landmarks such as the Central Green Forest Park, the Grand Canal Forest Park, the Beijing Performing Arts Centre, the Beijing Library, and the Grand Canal Museum of Beijing. They will also cross the Chaobai River, proceed through the junction of Tongzhou District and the three northern counties of Langfang (Sanhe City, Dachang Hui Autonomous County, and Xianghe County) in Hebei Province, and pass by Wuhuan Park in Dachang and the Dachang Eco-Technology Exhibition Hall, among other places. The start and finish lines are both located at the Tongzhou Campus of Renmin University of China.

This year's marathon will further enhance the influence of the Beijing Municipal Administrative Center while continuing the creative "Running Club Elite Leaderboard". Running clubs from across the Beijing–Tianjin–Hebei region are warmly invited to join the competition.
