As the 2025–2026 ski season approaches, three major ski areas in Changping District have had huge upgrades: Jundushan Ski Resort, the Hu Skiing Center, and the Reignwood Mammoth Ski Resort. All three are now ready to greet winter sports enthusiasts with refreshed looks and enhanced services!

This year, Jundushan Ski Resort has introduced new pet-friendly services, including a dedicated pet boarding area and a snow playground for pets, making it the only ski resort in Beijing to welcome pets. Additional upgrades include a premium ski gear rental store offering internationally renowned brands, an expanded convenience store for on-the-go energy boosts, new self-service ticketing machines, and an improved night-lighting system. Visitors can also enjoy many performances, including the "fire pot" shows (of which the performing technique is an intangible cultural heritage item), and an optimized ski instruction system. These efforts aim to comprehensively enrich the winter sports experiences for visitors of all ages.

The Hu Skiing Center has launched five major improvement initiatives covering slope optimization, facility upgrades, and service enhancement, all tailored to different age groups and visitor needs. The skiing center has designated a Ski Park Zone on the intermediate slopes, featuring diverse terrain settings and skill-building modules, providing freestyle skiers with a professional training environment for more advanced challenges. For children aged 3 to 7, the new Kids' Snow Park (娃娃道场地公园) is designed to make snow sports more accessible and beginner-friendly. In addition, Bingtuduo Snow Fun Park (冰驼驼娱雪乐园) has some new attractions such as snow tunnels, a snow tubing zone, and an extra-long snowman wall, offering families a variety of playful and dynamic winter entertainment options. The skiing center has also improved its night lighting system to further ensure safety for night skiing, and introduced more self-service ticketing machines to reduce waiting times.

Reignwood Mammoth Ski Resort focused on core slope improvement and facility enhancement. With its expansive 120,000-square-meter eco-friendly site, the resort aims to deliver high-quality, refined winter leisure experiences. The comprehensive enhancement of the No. 2 slope is the highlight, aimed at offering greater speed and excitement while catering to skiers at varying levels.
The three ski resorts are expected to open in early December. For exact opening dates and operating hours, please check the official WeChat accounts of each ski area. Now, get ready for a thrilling winter on the slopes!
