The upcoming New Year and Spring Festival period will see a rich array of cultural activities in Beijing. According to incomplete statistics, in addition to the New Year's Eve event at the main venue of Shougang Park, nearly 30 countdown celebrations will take place across different locations and regions in the city.

These events include a highly artistic countdown party at Chaoyang's 798 Art Zone and 751D·Park, the Beijing Living Room New Year's Eve Concert at Haidian's Joy City, and the Jazz New Year Music Festival at Mentougou's Tanko commercial area, and a series of events at Miyun's Gubei Water Town, such as a New Year's Eve drone light show and concert. Visitors to the town on the day of the event can enter the scenic area free of charge with real-name registration using a valid ID. Also, districts such as Fengtai, Tongzhou, Shunyi, Changping and Pinggu, will host various forms of New Year's Eve events.

Around New Year's Day, over 40 New Year concerts will be held at venues such as the Great Hall of the People, the National Center for the Performing Arts, Beijing Concert Hall, and Beijing Performing Arts Centre. During the Spring Festival, more than 1,000 commercial performances and over ten large-scale concerts will be held citywide. Museums, libraries, parks, and historical cultural heritage sites throughout the city will be fully open to the public, with over 240 museums offering nearly 200 diverse exhibitions.

During the New Year and Spring Festival period, the Badaling Great Wall will reopen its nighttime experience, featuring Hanfu ceremonies, light shows, and other evening tours. Yanqing's Longqing Gorge will host the Ice Lantern and Snow Carnival, showcasing over 300 ice and snow sculptures and a drone show with thousands of units. Universal Beijing Resort will continue its "Happy Chinese New Year" spring celebration. Currently, 25 large-scale temple fairs and spring garden events are being prepared in the city.

Beijing will host ice and snow carnivals at venues such as the National Speed Skating Oval, Big Air Shougang, and National Sliding Center, along with ice and snow joy activities at locations such as the Summer Palace, Shichahai, Yuyuantan Park, Workers' Stadium, and Bird's Nest.

On January 22, the traditional "Kitchen God Festival" in the lunar calendar, the Beijing Garden Expo Park will hold the kickoff ceremony for the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei "Joyful Temple Fair", while Daxing International Airport will host the launch ceremony of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei New Year Greetings Festival.

During the Spring Festival, nearly 100 malls, shopping centers, supermarkets, chain stores, and e-commerce platforms across Beijing will offer special promotions including significant discounts and cashback deals. Major flower markets across the city will organize the "New Year Flowers in Beijing" exhibition and sale.

Various districts will also roll out their unique Spring Festival cultural activities, such as the Longfu Spring Art Festival, the Chaoyang Folk Culture Festival, the Haidian New Year Music Season, the Fengtai Changxindian New Year Event, the Tongzhou Grand Canal Spring Market, and the Shunyi International Flower Port Lantern Fair.
