The 2023 Beijing Chaoyang International Light Festival (hereinafter referred to as the "Festival"), which lasted for 21 days, has recently concluded.

During the Festival, major malls in Beijing's Chaoyang District launched over 100 consumption campaigns featuring "Light and Shadow +" under the auspices of the district government. Leveraging the anniversary of Hopson One, the Joy City Light Festival, and the Shopping Season of Youyi Shopping City, among other unique campaigns, the government successfully boosted sales and customer numbers for the participating malls. The number of customers at SKP Beijing, SOLANA, THE BOX, Taikoo Li Sanlitun, Joy City Chaoyang, and other business districts exceeded 10 million, representing a 31-percent increase compared to daily figures. Total sales revenue reached CNY 2.1 billion, a 23-percent increase from the same period in 2019.

It has been reported that this year's Festival showcased a variety of immersive, experiential, and interactive light and shadow shows, as well as other unique nighttime tour options. Additionally, 70 percent of the lighting facilities will be permanently preserved, enhancing the cultural and recreational experiences available to citizens during nighttime hours.
