During the 2023 China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS), Shijingshan District will launch the First Shijingshan Cultural and Tourism Carnival - "Here I come, CIFTIS" series of events from August 31 to September 10, establishing a brand for cultural and tourism consumption in western Beijing.

To facilitate the travel of citizens and tourists during the 2023 CIFTIS, the Shijingshan District Bureau of Culture and Tourism will offer the CIFTIS-exclusive "Touring Shijingshan" free travel bus service from September 2 to 6. It will have morning, daytime, and evening routes, connecting scenic areas and spots, Internet-famous attractions, business districts, cultural venues, museums, etc. The bus stops cover key locations such as CIFTIS's exhibition area of Shougang Park, Moshikou Historical and Cultural Block, Jingxi Joy City, Xirondo Plaza, the Culture Center of Shijingshan District, Shijingshan Amusement Park, Langyuan, and several recommended hotels.

In cooperation with Meituan, an online shopping and reviewing platform, Shijingshan District is set to release hotel coupons worth CNY 1 million to citizens to further improve the quality of local quality-stay hotel services. The coupons will be released in three batches, starting during the CIFTIS and continuing through the National Day holiday.

When in Shijingshan, you can not miss the authentic local delicacies. The district, in cooperation with online shopping reviewing platforms like Meituan and Dianping.com, has designed a map for foodies, which is titled "Have You Eaten - Map of Marvelous Specialties of Shijingshan". Famous dining options like Fahaisi Zhigaowang (which means "King of Fried Rice Cake of Fahai Temple"), Lao Shan Cafe, Shangri-la Shougang Park, Beijing, where you can enjoy the afternoon tea set featuring the elements of the Big Air Shougang, and Shougang Canteen can all be found on this food map.

During the 2023 CIFTIS, Shougang Park will offer more nighttime touring options. More than 40 high-quality catering businesses including Shougang Canteen will cater to visitors with a variety of delicious options. Several cultural and recreational venues in the district will also open after dusk for the first time. For example, Fahai Temple which houses a national treasure - the mural will open night tours for the first time and the closing time of Fahai Temple Mural Art Center will be postponed to 20:00, allowing more visitors to catch a glimpse of this cultural heritage.

The closing time of the 41,000-square-meter-large Culture Center of Shijingshan District will be postponed to 22:00. In Shijingshan Intangible Cultural Heritage Center, visitors can watch nightly performances and demonstrations by inheritors of intangible cultural heritage. Tourists can make reservations for a visit and have the chance to experience the making techniques of Pankou (also known as "frog button"), incense, and more, all classified as intangible cultural heritage items. From 19:00 to 20:00 every day, the Shijingshan District Museum of Beijing will conduct ancient-style guided tours.
