Starting from the Dragon Boat Festival holiday, Jingxinzhai in Beihai Park opens for an immersive nighttime cultural experience, where visitors can enjoy the exquisite and elegant royal garden, hear the sounds of the ancient zither (guzheng) and watch Kunqu Opera performances while taking in Jiangnan (areas south of the Yangtze River) umbrella dances .

Additionally, the Jingshan Park Summer Cultural Season showcases the grand scenery of the central axis of Beijing and highlights the "Flavors of Beijing". It is worth mentioning that the park organizes evening tours, puts on a magnificent light and shadow display, and adorns its ancient red walls and traditional Beijing architecture.

Relying on its rich garden resources and thematic exhibition "Enduring Objects in the Garden Museum", every Wednesday the Museum of Chinese Gardens and Landscape Architecture holds a "Meet the Future Orators" overnight event.

The popular "Xiangshan Midsummer Night" event has reopened. Under the guidance of the Park's science lecturers, visitors have the opportunity to listen to the lively cicadas chirping in the mountains at night and observe the entire hatching process of the cicadas.

This summer, the closing time for China National Botanical Garden (North Garden), Jingshan Park, and Zhongshan Park is 21:00, while the closing time for the Temple of Heaven, Taoranting Park, and Zizhuyuan Park is 22:00. The closing time for Yuyuantan Park is 22:30.
