The Beijing Future Science and Technology Museum, located in the Beijing Shi Yuan International Tourism Resort (Beijing Expo Park), will officially open to the public on September 30. With a gross floor area of 21,000 square meters and an exhibition space of 13,000 square meters, it will serve as the first large-scale interactive science museum in northwestern Beijing.

Located near Gate 4 of the Beijing Expo Park, the museum spans two floors and features five exhibition halls: "Homeland Earth" (地球家园), "Laws of Everything" (万物法则), "Digital Age" (数字时代), "Journey to the Stars" (星际征程), and "Future Is Here" (未来已来). It will present 214 exhibits, 94.6 percent of which align with the curriculum standards of primary and secondary schools. The exhibits cover areas such as natural ecology, fundamental science, digital technology, space exploration, and cutting-edge technology, guiding visitors step by step into the world of science.

Its biggest highlight is the "Future Is Here" hall, which houses an immersive low-gravity experience area. Visitors can find out how it feels to move and perform tasks in simulated weightlessness while exploring the mysteries of aerospace technology up close.

The museum also has an interdisciplinary exploration center, offering hands-on experiments, research projects, and practice-based courses in subjects including mathematics, physics, chemistry, astronomy, ecology, and information technology. Drawing on the park's outdoor environment famous for a wide range of settings, this center combines indoor learning with outdoor practice, helping young people understand scientific principles through hands-on activities.

On its opening day, the museum will launch a series of public activities, including science education programs, immersive tours, and open classes focusing on sci-tech innovation, welcoming visitors of all ages.
