Starting from May 1, 2023, Tianyou Lanting Calligraphy Culture Museum in Beijing has been open to the public for free every Tuesday through Sunday.

Tianyou Lanting Calligraphy Culture Museum, located at No. 25 Jinghai 4th Road, Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area (BDA), is not only one of the first museums included in the construction scheme of "Beijing E-Town Science and Technology Museum City" by BDA but also the first calligraphy-themed museum in Beijing Municipality.

In the two galleries on the upper and lower floors, which cover nearly 700 square meters, there are over 300 calligraphic works dating from the Eastern Jin Dynasty to the present day.

The museum adopts "Lanting" (which literally means "Orchid Pavilion") as its main theme and employs multimedia techniques to create an immersive display of the elements related to the theme. More visitors are expected to visit the museum following its grant of free access. By gradually uncovering the creative process of Wang Xizhi in composing "Preface to the Poems Composed at the Orchid Pavilion", visitors can experience the charm of the "Orchid Pavilion" through more than 300 calligraphic works.

Since its inauguration in April 2021, Tianyou Lanting Calligraphy Museum has been regularly presenting new exhibitions every quarter to showcase calligraphic works and masterpieces from different periods. The museum has also organized various themed activities, inviting visitors to appreciate its calligraphic works and engage in the composition of their own works while actively promoting traditional culture.
