The 2025 Beijing Chaoyang International Light Festival – Consumption Season kicked off on September 26 and will run through the end of October. During the season, major locations — including the Grand Wangjing Business District, Sanlitun, the Central Business District (CBD), Chaowai UIC Block, and Gaobeidian Area — along with more than 10 key commercial hubs, are joining forces to present a dazzling array of events. Highlights include a variety of interactive performances, for example, the one on the spectacular "Magic Cube" floating stage. In the Beijing Olympic Center, classic light shows return: Yang Mountain, the water curtain, and Olympic Tower light displays. A 125-meter-wide, 30-meter-high music fountain promises a breathtaking visual experience.

Location: East Gate 5 of Chaoyang Park, south side of the Chaoyang Museum of Urban Planning
Settings and Installations: Tulip Field, Encounter, Secret Garden, Magic Ball, and Super Kaka at Apailang
Highlights: Artistic light installations, projection light shows, wonderful night views, LOVE-themed flower fields, and internet celebrity gathering spots.
Location: Beijing CBD (SKP-S, Taikoo Li Sanlitun, Jing Guang Centre, Sunshine Financial Center, CP Center, and Tongxin Bridge)
Settings and Installations: "Hello Moon", Light and Shadow Wonderland, and The Stage
Highlights: Light art installations, "embraceable" popular character "MOLLY", and snapshots at will to bomb WeChat moments.
02 Shopping Guide
LEGO Fantasy Garden
Date: Now until October 8
Location: Winter Garden, 1F, Indigo
Highlights: Indigo has teamed up with the renowned brand LEGO to create a romantic garden with wonderful photos guaranteed. During the event, a LEGO-themed limited-edition pop-up store will also make a surprising appearance, offering a unique shopping experience.
Kidu-Mart Bread Festival
Date: October 16 to 19
Location: Fireworks Square, Chaoyang Park
Highlights: Classic pastries and specialty desserts in one stop, more popular brands with their signature products landing in Beijing for the first time, live band performances making the perfect autumn background music, and many distinguished guests to create an exceptional experience!
03 Arts & Entertainment Guide
Cyber Planet Light Parade
Date: Every weekend from October 11 to 26
Location: Along the Liangma River and Chaoyang Park
Highlights: Light parades and interactive games.
Magic Beach Season
Date: October 1 to November 20
Location:Apailang Creativity Planet
Highlights: Potato and sweet potato digging at Mars Dune Farm; unlimited Mango Tank rides at Crazy Pumpkin Town; and BBQ camping at Planet.
