Flag Temple Fair of Qianjuntai and Zhuanghu Villages

From February 12 to 13, this flag temple fair, a national-level intangible cultural heritage item of China that has been passed down for over 500 years, will take place in Qianjuntai Community of Datai Subdistrict, featuring drum performances, concerts, Yangge dances and more.

Intangible Cultural Heritage Huahui in Yongning Ancient Town, Yanqing District

On February 12, a huahui (a collection of recreational activities organized for specific festivals) will be held in the courtyard of Haowu Cultural Creativity Park (a former foundry). Visitors can watch performances such as hanchuan ("land boat"), stilt walking, and Yangge dances.

Cultural Performances at Grand Canal Museum of Beijing

From 15:00 to 16:00 on February 12, the Grand Canal Museum of Beijing will collaborate with a performing troupe to present exciting shows, including Chinese crosstalk, clapper talk, magic shows, and more.

Natural History Museum of China: Joint Exhibition of Chinese Zodiac Cultural Relics for 2025 Year of the Snake

This exhibition, featuring nearly 50 selected snake specimens, offers a comprehensive showcase of the unique charm of snakes. The exhibition runs until February 16, 2025, and is free of charge. Visitors can attend by booking the tickets of the museum in advance.
