Lavender is in full bloom at Shounong Purple Valley Eden by the Yongding River in Fengtai District. The vast fields of purple flowers waver with the breeze beneath the clear blue sky and white clouds. The bloom is expected to last until the National Day holiday (which will start on October 1).

The park's flower planting area covers 500 mu (about 33.33 hectares), dotted with photo-taking spots titled "Romantic Notes", "520", "Colourful Windmills", "Piano", etc. The plants in the park are mostly lavender and verbena, with more than 20 other species of flowers, including zinnia and cosmos, also in full bloom.

Beijing Flower World has put on a new, amazing look in the early fall. Numerous visitors have been captivated by the red spider lilies, blooming gracefully one after another. The blooming period for the red spider lilies is expected to last from early to mid-September.

Besides the red spider lilies, visitors can also see August lilies and verbena flowers in the park. The park has also provided artistic stamps featuring the patterns of red spider lilies, which can be accessed by visitors within a limited period.
Throughout most of the colorful autumn, incredibly stunning scenes featuring sunflowers against the background of blue sky can also be seen in Beijing.
In Koutou Village, Qinglonghu Town of Fangshan District, 40 mu (about 2.67 hectares) of fully blooming sunflowers are waiting for your arrival to discover the golden sea of flowers.
