Why are more and more international students choosing Beijing as their destination for studying? These American students may give you the answers.
From July 9 to 18, the Bond with Kuliang: 2025 China-U.S. Youth Choir Festival was held in Fuzhou and Beijing. During the event, Chinese and American youths engaged in choir exchanges, cultural tours, and other interactive activities to deepen their understanding of the charming traditional Chinese culture and the vitality of China's modern development.
On July 15, nearly 100 faculty members and students from the Select Singers Choir and the Women's Chorus of Brigham Young University visited the Palace Museum and the China Intangible Cultural Heritage Museum, where they marveled at the rich heritage of Chinese civilization through ancient buildings and intangible cultural heritage techniques. "Vibrant!" exclaimed Emma, a student from Brigham Young University, after being asked if she could use one word to describe Beijing during an interview. She further said, "I would definitely tell people to come check out the universities here." Through musical exchanges and cultural exploration, these international students were enchanted by Beijing for its distinctive aura, and began to see it as an ideal choice for studying and living.
