Global registration has officially opened for the 2027 Beijing E-Town Half Marathon and Humanoid Robot Half Marathon. On April 18, 2027, Beijing E-Town will once again open a real-world race course to robot competitors and invite innovative robotic teams from around the world to compete side by side and experience the rise of embodied intelligence firsthand.

Pre-registration for the event is now open. Teams interested in taking part can submit the required materials via email (jqr@shangyicheng.com). Further details on competition rules, prizes and related events will be available through the WeChat account "Beijing E-Town Half Marathon" (北京亦庄半程马拉松).

As the world's first dedicated marathon event for humanoid robots, the Beijing E-Town Half Marathon and Humanoid Robot Half Marathon has been held twice. On April 19, 2025, 20 teams competed, with Tiangong Ultra becoming the world's first humanoid robot half-marathon champion with a time of 2 hours, 40 minutes and 42 seconds. On April 19, 2026, more than 100 humanoid robot teams competed, and the robot "Lightning" won the race with a time of 50 minutes and 26 seconds, surpassing the human half-marathon world record.
