The Zhongguancun Yichuang Intelligent Laboratory Innovation and Development Alliance (中关村仪创智能实验室创新发展联盟) was recently inaugurated, marking the official launch of China's first cross-field, non-profit industry collaboration organization dedicated to the autonomous laboratory sector.

At present, the alliance has more than 100 prospective member entities on its initial list, including universities, research institutes, instrument and equipment manufacturers, AI technology enterprises, standardization institutions, testing and certification bodies, as well as end-user organizations. It will integrate resources from industry, academia, research and application to jointly boost the standardized, large-scale and commercial application of autonomous laboratories.

In the near future, the alliance will release the first batch of project plans for group standards of autonomous laboratories. Together with its member entities, the alliance will build demonstration projects of autonomous laboratories in sectors including life sciences, medical and healthcare, new materials and new energy.
