On May 11, the 27th China Beijing International High-Tech Expo (CHITEC) successfully concluded. This year's CHITEC attracted more than 80,000 visitors from around the globe, with a total of 43 projects valued at more than CNY 5.8 billion signed on-site.
The four-day expo brought together over 800 enterprises and institutions from around the world, showcasing more than 1,200 latest achievements associated with cutting-edge technologies, emerging sectors, and future industries. Over 120 overseas companies from more than 30 countries and regions participated in the expo. More than 600 technology products made their debut, including AI-based waste incineration systems and multifunctional AI-powered wall-climbing robots. Several Fortune Global 500 companies such as AstraZeneca, Sanofi, and Deloitte presented their latest technologies and collaborative achievements, highlighting Beijing's leading role as a global hub for scientific and technological innovations.
This year's CHITEC also featured over 30 sub-events for trade and investment promotion. A series of thematic promotional sessions including a session focusing on the future industries, the Promotion Conference for Beijing-made SSDI Products Going Global, and the Green Economy New-Quality Tech and Industry Cooperation and Promotion Meeting, facilitated technology exchanges and business matchmaking in fields such as new energy and smart manufacturing. These efforts were aimed at helping enterprises expand their global outreach more efficiently. As a part of the Beijing International Investment and Trade Conference 2025, the Beijing–Saudi Advanced Manufacturing Conference, a dedicated conference, was also held, with more than 300 Chinese and international enterprises participating for in-depth networking and exchanges.
