Introduction: Fengtai Science Park is one of the earliest "one district and three parks" in Zhongguancun. Approved for establishment in November 1991, it started construction in June 1992 and became one of the first batch of national high-tech zones in April 1994. In 2012, it was expanded into "Fengtai Park of Zhongguancun National Independent Innovation Demonstration Zone" with the approval of the State Council. The policy area of the park is 17.63 square kilometers, composing of 11 areas, namely East District, West District I, West District II, Lize, North District of Yongding River, South District of Yongding River, Erqi Vehicle Factory, Erqi Locomotive Factory, Ertong Factory of Shougang Group, emergency rescue plot and technology street. After nearly 30 years of development, the park has become the core economic growth pole of Fengtai District and an important bearing area for the capital's construction of science and technology innovation center. Fengtai Park is responsible for the development and construction of the East, West District I and West District II of Fengtai Science and Technology Park. East District is a pilot demonstration area listed in Beijing's first batch of urban design guidelines, the pioneer area of Beijing's small-scale blocks with a greening rate of 40%, and a green ecological demonstration area in Beijing with comfortable and pleasant ecological environment. West District is located on the west bank of Yongding River and is adjacent to the Garden Expo Park. It is an important node of the Yongding River Ecological Cultural Belt. According to the standards of national green ecological demonstration zone, it will build a new functional area integrating ecological industrial park, ecological community and riverside ecological landscape area.

At present, Fengtai Park has formed two hundred-billion-level industrial clusters of rail transit and aerospace. Rail transit: Rail transit is the most distinctive and largest industry in Fengtai Park. It has formed a rail transit industry cluster consisting of national "one cluster, one pilot and two bases" (national-level rail transit innovative industrial cluster (cultivation), national high-end equipment manufacturing industry <rail transit equipment> standardization pilot, national new industrialization industry demonstration base, national rail transit high-tech industry base) and municipal"two bases"(Beijing Foreign Trade Transformation and Upgrading Demonstration Base, Beijing New Industrialization Industry Demonstration Base), and gathered more than 140 key rail transit enterprises, including the world-famous rail transit leading enterprises represented by China Railway, CRSC and CRHIC, as well as private enterprise represented by Traffic Control Technology, China's first company which has independently built the traffic control technology for fully automated subway lines. Aerospace: Over 100 key aerospace companies are in Fengtai Park, including Yuanliu Hongyuan, CSTimes, Weibiao Zhiyuan and Airlook. Nearly 50 companies under the names of CASC, CASIC, China North Industries Group, CSSC, CSIC and CETC have settled in the park, involving many national aerospace projects. It is an important national aerospace research and production base.

At the same time, the park also focuses on cultivating four ten-billion-level industrial clusters with great development potential and strong radiation capacity. They are electronic information industry represented by Insights Value, Zhidemai and Xinxing Hua'an, new material industry represented by Dangsheng Technology, Beikuang Technology and Fangda Carbon, advanced manufacturing and automation industry represented by Huadian Heavy Industries, BWT Beijing and JA Solar, and biological and new pharmaceutical enterprises represented by Aeonmed, Keyuan Xinhai and Sihuan Kebao.
