From November 2 to 4, the 2023 World Agrifood Innovation (WAFI) Conference will be held at Beijing Jinhai Lake International Convention and Exhibition Center.

With the theme of "Food Security and Future Agrifood", the 2023 WAFI Conference will consist of an opening ceremony, main forums, as well as four thematic forums (i.e. the WAFI University Presidents Forum, the WAFI Entrepreneurs Forum, the WAFI Agrifood Investment and Venture Capital Forum, and the International Forum for Agrifood Science and Technology Exchange and Cooperation). In addition, the World Agrifood Science and Tech Expo as well as multiple sub-forums and forums will be held during the conference.

Meanwhile, a consensus for the conference will be released along with other results of vital significance. The conference will also witness the establishment of the World Agrifood Industry Low-Carbon Sustainable Cooperation Center, World Agrifood Industry Unicorn Research Center, and World Agricultural Science and Innovation Investors Alliance, among other organizations.

As of September 21, the conference has invited 162 distinguished guests from 61 countries (including China) and regions around the world. A total of 24 international organizations, 26 Chinese and foreign universities, 11 embassies and consulates in China, 437 Chinese and foreign agricultural enterprises, and 108 Chinese and foreign media outlets have confirmed their attendance.
