The HICOOL 2025 Global Entrepreneurship Competition (HICOOL 2025) has now been launched, with the registration simultaneously opened. The deadline for submissions is March 31, 2025.

During the registration period, the competition's organizing committee will hold multiple offline initial evaluation roadshows. At the end of each roadshow, at least 50 percent of the participating projects will be likely to enter the preliminary round in advance. The initial evaluation roadshows are only open to projects that have been registered. HICOOL 2025 will include 12 competition tracks, namely, "Integrated Circuits/Quantum Information", "AI/Robot", "5G/6G/IoT/Smart City", "Blockchain/Financial Technology", "Medicine and Healthcare/Medical Devices", "Biotechnology/Health Services", "High-end Instrumentation and Equipment/General Key Components", "Key New Materials/New Energy/Energy Conservation and Environmental Protection", "Intelligent Equipment/New Energy Smart Vehicles", "Software and Information Services/Technology Services", "Modern Agriculture/Food Technology", and "Culture and Creativity".

HICOOL 2025 will have a total of 200 prize winners, including:

12 1st Prize winners, with a bonus of CNY 2 million each;

36 2nd Prize winners, with a bonus of CNY 1 million each;

68 Third Prize winners, with a bonus of CNY 500,000 each;

84 Winner Prize winners, with a bonus of CNY 200,000 each.

Additionally, the 2025 session will offer the Talent Scout Bonus for those who recommend participating projects, and each recipient will get a bonus of CNY 500,000.

In addition to bonuses, this session will also provide a range of support for the winning participants to live and work in Beijing, such as household registration, children's education, and medical care. Furthermore, it will offer full-lifecycle professional services covering product exhibition, capital matchmaking, industrial cooperation, media publicity, and resource empowerment.
