Regarding the issue you reported, please first confirm with your home carrier in the United States whether international roaming has been activated for your number. If it has, upon your arrival in Beijing, China, your number will automatically connect to one of the three networks: China Mobile Beijing, China Unicom Beijing, or China Telecom Beijing.

If connected to China Mobile Beijing, you can dial the railway customer service hotline using +861012306. You can also long-press the "0" key on the dial pad to bring up the "+" sign.

If connected to China Unicom Beijing, please dial 00861012306 to reach the railway customer service hotline.

If connected to China Telecom Beijing, you can dial +8612306 to contact the railway customer service hotline, without the need to add the city area code.

You may try each of the above methods, or alternatively, you can contact the customer service hotlines of the three carriers in China for further assistance:

China Mobile Beijing: 10086

China Unicom Beijing: 10010

China Telecom Beijing: 10000
