Hello. Public kindergartens in Beijing currently charge certain fees, including childcare and education fees as well as meal fees. However, childcare and education fees are waived for children in the senior kindergarten classes (the final year before primary school).

Public kindergartens generally admit children aged 3 to 6. At the same time, kindergartens that have the necessary conditions are encouraged to open nursery classes for children aged 2 to 3.
