Foreigners may apply for jobs through legally registered recruitment websites in China, based on market demand, their personal employment intentions, educational background, professional qualifications, and language skills. Recruitment is determined by market conditions. Once successfully hired, the employer must apply for a work permit for the foreign employee. Employment may only commence after the work permit is approved and issued. Applicants for a work permit must meet the following basic conditions:

1. Be at least 18 years old, physically healthy, with no criminal record, have a confirmed employer in China, and possess the professional skills or knowledge required for the job.

2. The job position should meet the needs of China's economic and social development and fall within fields where talent is urgently needed.

3. Where laws or regulations have special provisions regarding foreigners working in China, such provisions shall prevail.
