Hello. Foreigners need to register their accommodation at the local police stations of their places of residence within 24 hours of entering Beijing. You can also access the official WeChat account of the Exit-Entry Administration Department of the Beijing Municipal Public Security Bureau (北京公安出入境), go to the "Information Guide" (资讯指南) section, and then tap "Online Accommodation Registration" (网上住宿登记办理) to register. Any foreigner failing to register his/her accommodation within 24 hours of entering Beijing is subject to penalties imposed by public security organs.
