Hello. We are a Danish family travelling to Beijing next week on a tourist trip. There are 4 people plus my daughter bringing her friend with her. Her friend is 17 years old and is travelling with us. She is travelling without her parents. We have return tickets back to Denmark and proof of hotel stay. Do we need any kind of documentation from my daughter friends parents that it is okay for us bring her with us to China. We will only stay for one week, therefore we don't need a visa.

Hello. Danish citizens holding ordinary passports can enter China visa-free for business, tourism, visiting relatives and friends, transit, exchange visits and other permitted purposes. The length of the visa-free stay period is 30 days. The specific application result is subject to on-site review.

Minors are not required to be accompanied by their parents, and there is currently no requirement to check their parents' authorization documents during the immigration inspection process.
