Spring is the most beautiful season along Beijing Suburban Rail Line S2 (also known as "the Train to Spring"). Every year, around the middle of March, the mountain flowers on both sides burst into vibrant buds, heralding the arrival of spring.

Changchi Road in the Beijing suburbs runs through picturesque scenery from early to mid-to-late April. Apricots, mountain peaches, and other flowering trees will be in full bloom from Changping to Yanqing in Beijing.

The Juyong Pass Great Wall is surrounded by pink mountain flowers every April. The Juyong Pass Flower Sea Boardwalk opens from 8:00 to 17:00 every day from March 23 to April 21. At the foot of the Juyong Pass Great Wall, the first sea flower market in Nankou of Beijing will take place from March 30 to April 20,. Agricultural products from all over the country will be on sale, and cultural events like war drum performances, tug-of-war competitions, garden tours in Hanfu (traditional Chinese attire), and dragon and lion dances will be staged.

The Fourth Cultural Festival of the Ming Dynasty will take place at the Ming Tombs Scenic Area in Changping, Beijing from April 4 to April 6, during the Tomb Sweeping Day holiday. Events will include the Phoenix Crown Jewellery Competition, live dramas about 16 Ming emperors, sacrifice rituals at Changling Tombs, and grand Ming banquets.
