"2021 Beijing Consumption Season" will officially kick off on April 28 through the end of this year. With multiple promotional activities to be organized, the pro-consumer program will span the festivals and holidays as well as important timing nodes for promotions throughout the year, and focus on eight major sectors including shopping consumption, fashion consumption, digital consumption, and intelligent consumption, etc. 

During the consumption season, a number of participating e-commerce platforms, commercial enterprises, and financial institutions will offer consumption promotions and special discounts, e.g. price cuts, flash sales, discounts and gifts for full-amount payment, direct discounts and group purchases, etc. The program is planned with alluring gift packages worth up to CNY 10 billion in total to benefit consumers across the entire city.
