Introduction of institution: The Korea Chamber of Commerce in China was registered in the Ministry of Civil Affairs in May 2002. With the aim of assisting member enterprises to achieve success in the Chinese market and contribute to China's economic development, it actively protects the legitimate rights and interests of member enterprises, provides information consultation and assists in solving various problems encountered in enterprise operation. The main business of the Korea Chamber of Commerce in China includes advocacy of rights and interests, strengthening exchanges and cooperation, information analysis and provision, investment promotion and support, and social contribution. Specifically, it includes: publishing white papers on Korean enterprises in China and making policy improvement suggestions to the Korean and Chinese governments; holding interviews with relevant personnel of the Chinese government and making suggestions to the government; conducting special research on the problems encountered in the operation of Korean enterprises and making suggestions to the government; holding exchange meetings with the Chinese government and relevant institutions; holding seminars and explanation meetings to deal with various changes in policies and systems; holding policy briefings on the investment environment; holding seminars with local government leaders; holding explanation meetings on corporate social responsibility, and carrying out social welfare activities such as disaster relief.
