For the first quarter of 2024, Beijing is set to host a total of 31 exhibitions in venues exceeding 10,000 square meters, marking a 15 percent increase compared to the previous year.

This surge in exhibitions highlights the capital's continuous improvement in its business environment. According to information obtained, Beijing streamlined the process for organizing large events last year, reducing application processing time by over 80 percent for large-scale commercial performances, sports events, and exhibition sales. More convenience will be provided for organizers of large events this year. Specifically, a coordination mechanism for the comprehensive services for grand commercial exhibitions will be established for the exhibition sector.
