On February 29, 2024, the 2nd Beijing Artificial Intelligence Industry Innovation and Development Conference was held at the China National Convention Center. At the conference, the "Western Beijing AI Valley" and four companies signed an agreement to jointly create Beijing's first AI (artificial intelligence) computing cluster marked by independent innovation. Concurrently, 24 representative AI enterprises in Beijing initiated the "Large Model Application Industry Alliance" and announced the Beijing General Artificial Intelligence Industry Innovation Partner Plan (2024).

During the event, the "Western Beijing AI Valley" Artificial Intelligence Computing Center signed agreements with China Unicom, Beijing Energy Holding Co., Ltd., DEEPEXI, and Capital Online to jointly establish an AI computing cluster marked by independent innovation.

This artificial intelligence computing cluster is the first of its kind in Beijing. Located in the "Western Beijing AI Valley", it aims to cater to small and medium-sized AI enterprises as well as research institutions nationwide by offering comprehensive computing power services that are independent, controllable, open-source, safe and efficient.

The conference featured multiple segments, such as "Strategic Sharing", "Corporate Themed Speeches", and "Academic Themed Speeches". The venue of the conference housed an exhibition area spanning over 600 square meters, showcasing more than 20 types of cases of industrial application of large models and intelligent edge products for attendees to explore and experience.
