By releasing the Catalogue, Beijing Human Resources and Social Security Bureau has provided a blueprint for how to attract and employ overseas talent for the development of the "Two Zones". The professional qualifications listed in this version of the Catalogue are all professional technical qualifications. Compared with its previous edition (Edition 1.0), the Catalogue has been expanded to include professional qualifications for surveying, planning, firefighting, and financing to name a few. In addition, the names and order of the qualifications listed in the Catalogue have been standardized and adjusted in accordance with the National Catalogue of Professional Qualifications (2021 Edition).
