On June 29, the 11th Chaoyang International Talent Entrepreneurship Conference (ITEC) kicked off, with its Global Entrepreneurship Competition beginning to accept entries at the same time.

This year's competition features four categories including two brand-new additions namely ITEC Exceptional Individuals Open Class Contest, and ITEC Digital Industry Contest. Winners of these categories will go straight to the global finals, and gain opportunities to collaborate with leading enterprises in areas of technology sharing, project implementation, and more. A new incentive mechanism for institutions and organizations facilitating the implementation of projects has also been introduced for this year's competition, in which each eligible entity will be granted a one-time reward of 10 percent of prize money for the materialization of the corresponding project.

The competition is divided into the Domestic Division and Overseas Division, encompassing regions such as North America, South America, European Union, the Middle East and Southeast Asia.

A total of 55 winning projects will be selected. Each grand prize winner will be awarded a cash prize of CNY 5,000,000, while each winner of the first prize, second prize and third prize will receive CNY 3,000,000, CNY 2,000,000 and CNY 1,000,000 respectively. Additionally, there will be 30 honorary prize winners who will each receive a cash prize of CNY 200,000. The total prize money offered throughout the competition is over CNY 50 million.

The organizing committee will provide a customized policy package offering comprehensive support for winning projects. Founders of projects awarded the grand, first, second, and third prizes will be integrated into the High-Caliber Personnel Service System of the "Phoenix Project", through which the founders can enjoy health and housing services.
