In recent days, the GT²HR 2023 On-Campus Career Fair (GT²HR 2023 Recruitment Fair in the form of "hundred organizations and companies in Beijing and hundred days online worldwide") was held at Tsinghua University. The event was hosted by the Beijing Overseas Talents Center (BOTC) together with the Beijing Youth Federation, Tianjin Municipal Science and Technology Bureau and the Department of Human Resources and Social Security of Hebei Province, and organized by the Beijing Foreign Enterprise Service Group Co., Ltd. (FESCO).

International students from 42 countries and regions including the United States, Canada and Italy, and various disciplines including the School of Economics and Management and the Department of Chemical Engineering of Tsinghua University had face-to-face communication with seven employers. The participating entities totally offered 76 international positions, received 110 personal resumes and reached preliminary recruitment stages with 51 students.

Mao Dongmin, Deputy Director of the Beijing Overseas Talents Center (BOTC), said in her speech that over the past two years, the event has attracted over 100 employers offering more than 400 international positions, and has attracted 300,000 online followers. She expressed hopes that more international youth talent could learn about and eventually settle in Beijing.

In the job matchmaking session, international students discussed job opportunities, responsibilities, remunerations and so on with potential employers. One international student majoring in the TUNEM programme said that he likes Beijing very much, calling it an attractive city and a good place for international students to live and work. Another international student from the Department of Energy and Power Engineering said that Beijing has a huge number of must-see places, adding that foreign students will not feel isolated. Another international student majoring in policy management expressed willingness to work in Beijing and strong confidence in the city's future development.
